Preserving Artistic Integrity in a Social Media-Driven World

Instagram and many other social media platforms can be detrimental to one's mental health, often filled with negativity, self-absorption, and shallowness. As an artist, it can feel like these platforms do more harm than good. It's like entering an art gallery and being surrounded by people showcasing their appearances instead of appreciating art. It doesn't make sense, and it's clear that Instagram is not just for artists but for everyone.

When artists attempt to make a living through these apps, their art can become lost amidst the noise of algorithms and corporate interests. We might need a dedicated platform exclusively for artists, one that honors the true essence of art. Especially with the rise of AI, the integrity of art is at risk, and we must ensure that art remains art. Artists should not have to conform to social media platforms; otherwise, they end up creating art for the benefit of corporate interests, like the "greedy meta guys."
